Northern vibes for our Peer Review 9
The urban authorities working on their Sustainable Urban Development (SUD) strategies during this session are Botosani (RO), Ostrava (CZ), Saku (EE) and Sörmland (SE). As always, accompanied by the EUI team of experts and an excellent selection of peer reviewers from more than 10 EU countries, the four delegations will be able to break the ice and explore diverse solutions to their respective challenges.
These topics, pre-identified in the application form, are rediscussed with the experts working with each city, reformulated and put into context with the help of the SAT4SUD – a self-assessment tool addressed to local authorities and providing guidance when evaluating the strategy’s completeness and quality, from its design and implementation, to its monitoring and evaluation. This tool is available to any city wishing to work on their SUD strategy.
After the Peer Review, the four cities under review will receive a personalised report with recommendations and practical ideas helping them tackle their challenges. They will also be assisted in applying for a City-to-City Exchange, which should allow them to take another step toward achieving their goal.
If this has piqued your interest and you wish to take part in a similar adventure, apply to the Call for Peer Reviews now open until May 1 and join the ranks of city representatives having benefitted from this format.
