Krakow
SCT HUB - Codesign the Future of sustainable cultural tourism
Location
In Polish, Wesoła means “happy” and it is the perfect place for developing a project like SCT Hub in the city of Krakow. The district is not well known by residents nor tourists, even though the location is very central and enjoys a lot of greenery. A historic monastery will be renovated to host artists from around the world. All stakeholders, including residents will be able to spend their time there and immerse themselves in the hub.
Urban authorities
The Municipality of Krakow actively tries to address the challenges the city and its residents face due to over-tourism. It is developing the Sustainable Cultural Tourism Hub to fulfil its ambitions and improve the situation of residents, entrepreneurs, and tourists by creating a new space, the SCT Hub, to welcome people in different places and time, and develop innovative solutions for more sustainable tourism.

PolandTransfer partners
Transfer Partners are urban authorities that join the EUI-Innovative Action project to observe and learn. Their primary aim is to enhance the adaptability of the project's solutions to different urban contexts within the EU. These partners play a crucial role in facilitating knowledge exchange among EU cities and fostering innovation. They come from different EU member states than the project Main Urban Authority and participate during the project's implementation phase. Each project generally involves three Transfer Partners. The involvement of Transfer Partners is vital for ensuring the project's innovative solutions are effectively adaptable and replicable in various contexts across the EU.
