Stalowa Wola
SPACE 4 TALENTS - Model for attracting and retaining talents by creating conditions for the space industry development
Location
Stalowa Wola is a young city in southeastern Poland, which is rich in green areas, family-friendly spaces, and excellent recreational facilities, offering a high quality of life. However, despite the city’s strong industrial roots and a vast ‘Strategic Investment Park’, it offers few attractive career paths for ambitious young talent in modern, high-tech sectors, making it a bold and exciting location for such an innovative solution.
Urban authorities
Stalowa Wola has been actively seeking solutions to combat brain drain and promoting the city as a centre for innovation. The concept of this project originated from City Hall's commitment to fostering local talent and enhancing career opportunities. Dedicated spaces within city facilities will support the project’s goals. Key roles of the main urban authority include coordination of all partners, keeping a focus on project goals and maximising the promotion of the city.

PolandTransfer partners
Transfer Partners are urban authorities that join the EUI-Innovative Action project to observe and learn. Their primary aim is to enhance the adaptability of the project's solutions to different urban contexts within the EU. These partners play a crucial role in facilitating knowledge exchange among EU cities and fostering innovation. They come from different EU member states than the project Main Urban Authority and participate during the project's implementation phase. Each project generally involves three Transfer Partners. The involvement of Transfer Partners is vital for ensuring the project's innovative solutions are effectively adaptable and replicable in various contexts across the EU.
