KICK-OFF EVENT OF RELAUNCHTOWIN PROJECT IN BURGAS
RELAUNCHTOWIN Project Launches with Community Festival at Mladost Sports Hall

On June 2nd 2024 the Municipality of Burgas officially launched the RELAUNCHTOWIN Project with a vibrant Kick-Off event - a one-day community festival at the Mladost Sports Hall.

The festival attracted a diverse crowd from the local community, including residents from the neigborhood as well as young people involved in various sports, dance and signing clubs. Project partners involved in the RELAUNCHTOWIN project, were also in attendance, leading a range of engaging workshops and activities throughout the day, including permaculture sessions for children, sports activities and arts and crafts. 

The RELAUNCHTOWIN project co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) will support:

  • The renovation of the Mladost Sports Hall into a Nearly Zero Energy Building (NZEB)
  • The remodelling of the interior design and creating new functional spaces for community use
  • The development of the surrounding area with nature-based solutions to restore and enrich biodiversity

The overall objective of the project is to transform the Mladost Sports Hall and its surroundings into a sustainable and vibrant community hub, fostering both environmental and social wellbeing.
