March 22nd - 30th: Week of the water

Water is one of our most important raw materials: for our bodies, for our food, and for the planet. Together with dozens of partners, the Vlaamse Milieumaatschappij therefore invests in water every day. And the results are showing: water quality in Flanders is improving and water awareness is growing. Yet we can do even more.

During this week (at the end of March) the City of Mechelen is organizing a lot of activities on and alongside the water:
- Boattrips
- Clean-up with kayaks
- Documentary: I'm the river, the river is me
- Film: Flow
