SHARE attracts the interest of the European Commissioner

On the 8th of March, Fuenlabrada was visited by Nicolas Schmidt, European Commissioner for Employment and Social Rights, who took an interest in the recent launch of the SHARE project, financed by the EUI, as a project closely linked to the preservation of citizens' rights. On the one hand, the right of the elderly to maintain an active and independent life and, on the other hand, the right of young people to have access to decent housing at a reasonable price.
In addition, the Commissioner highlighted that the city is one of the five European cities selected to develop two European innovation projects: MILMA, a programme aimed at integrating the city's unemployed into the labour market, developed under the UIA, and SHARE, which will be launched in March this year.
This visit encourages us even more to work hard for the successful development of the project.
