The European Urban Initiative is opening a vacancy "Finance Officer" position (for a long-term contract) to join the Permanent Secretariat (PS) based in Lille (France).

The present framework contract aims to select a suitable structure that will support the Permanent Secretariat with the selection process, contracting and management of experts for the European Urban Initiative (for both Assessors and Experts). The deadline is 27th October 2022

EUI has officially launched its first Innovative Actions call with a budget of EUR 50 million in support to New European Bauhaus demonstrators! The call is open until 19th January 2023 @14h00 CET. Cities, you are invited to submit your innovative ideas and join our path to sustainable urban development!

On 20-21 October, the National URBACT Point in Spain and Gijon City Council are organizing the event, URBAN DAYS, an ideal framework for learning about advances, examples, challenges and opportunities related to Sustainable Urban Development (SUD) and its financing. This event will present programs, calls, including EUI 1st Innovative Actions Call and practices linked to the Next Generation funds and the new Funding Period 2021-2027.

We are ready to assist and offer our support to all interested applicants during the open call for proposals! The EUI Permanent Secretariat has prepared a complete package for cities to get started on their application process. Even more, it is eager to meet cities in person at applicant seminars and online for Q&A and individual consultations! Question is, are you ready to inspire us with your innovative ideas?
